The Crotons are just beautiful
this time of year.
A few leaves placed
in a fall arrangement
....very nice.
A closer look
in the morning garden
yielded an
interesting sighting!!
Lurking in the garden,
one fine primitive,
shabbied tortoise.
"I am king of the garden.....
out of my way lizards!"
Tortoise has called the garden home
for quite some time, weathering the storms
of small grandchildren. He has
one chipped foot battle scar, as
proof of being loved to pieces.

Our temps have dipped on
the side of cooler this week,
and we
are quite content.
