We drove out to the Island today...mid afternoon.
It's always good to have a purpose when
walking "willy-nilly" along the water's edge.
I had camera in hand, expecting
in that place of water, sand
and wild-life....extraordinary photo subject matter.
Good fortune smiled down on me today,
The lighting was perfect, and the camera
found perfection in a simple composition.
I am happy to share with you,
what I saw through the lens of my camera.
A yellow beach umbrella, seen through
brown stems of Sea Oats, with
a backdrop of white sand and
pale green Gulf waters.
