This is a beautiful painting

I love everything about it.
The lovely soft
muted colors of the distant window,
stained glass, cut in jeweled pieces,
portraying Jesus the Shepherd.
The curiously adoring face of the girl child,
reminds me of His spoken words....
"Suffer the little children to come unto me"
Then I see
the sweet faith of the child,
for she wears a cross,
and carefully holds the
Holy Bible,
God's Word, in her hand.
