Discouraged?
Think of the first few days
of the Sea Turtle's life.
Inside an egg, the turtle must crack the shell,
then climb through a foot and a half of sand......
The tiny hatchling somehow finds the strength.
Upon reaching the surface,
under the cover of darkness,
the turtle scrambles frantically toward the shoreline.
Aware of predators....swimming hard and fast is
a matter of life or death.
The small hatchling turtle
instinctively swims
out into the waters,
toward home....
unanchored seaweed beds.
