Circle Of Life

Remembering Goldenrod on Honeymoon Island

Fall comes to the island in a more different form
than usual places.  In the distance are two white
Egrets, standing with no noticeable movement in
water left from a recent rain.

I can allow my mind to remember even the
quiet sounds of nature then,  as the shutter clicked
in that single moment.

It's all still there,...the circle of life.

ART

Inspired by the season, I've brought
out illustrations, drawn and painted a
few years back.

Today I've finally made the move to
bring out the paints and brushes.

I have ideas swirling around in my
head, seeing images and natural colors.

Enjoying the moments and looking
forward to cooler days.  Dee Dee

Caught My Camera's Eye

I had my camera with me on our
trip to Florida this past week.

The following were images that
caught my eye.....

Oleander

Spider plants blooming along the Gulf waters......

Spider plant close up with beautiful green
colored grass as back drop.  In distance is
light sparkles coming from the Gulf of Mexico.

Beautiful calm waters of the Gulf. Perfect
sailing weather.

Christmas Decorating

Christmas
is my favorite time of year.

This year, the Mister and
I are back
in South Carolina,
living in our beloved
home town.

It's exciting decorating
 a new home and I've
selected softer traditional
colors .

To the room with colors of
 blue and white,
 I've added a complimenting
holiday theme.

The Christmas tree, eight
feet tall, has branches
splashed with
new fallen snow.

 Blue and white meets
Pink
Poinsettia.

Mister and Mrs Stockings

Soon to add fresh greenery
and of course lots of
Christmas gifts
beneath the tree.

Sweet blessings for your day!

Fall Mums

Fall mums, Cooperstown New York.

Guard well your spare moments.
They are like uncut diamonds
Discard them and their value will
never be known. Improve them
and they will become the brightest
gens in a useful life.

Ralph Waldo Emerson

Think on this. Blessings Dee Dee
