I continue on my learning journey....to draw and paint
as an illustrator.
In most cases, using my imagination,
I can do so, using
my watercolors
and pencils.
In this instance,
I thought of my grandchildren
visiting a farm....a pumpkin patch
and the newness of it all.
Sweet discovery....
especially for the youngest.
They are not unlike generations of children
before them, I thought,
as I painted
earlier American children.
