The Great White Egret

There is little more satisfaction to
an amateur photographer than finding
the right subject, the right lighting and
the right setting.
It all came together in recent times,
on Honeymoon Island, Florida.
We had walked to the north beach area,
finding shallow water pools along the way.
The Great White Egret is easy to
see, even from a distance,
 standing in the mangrove marsh.
The perfect subject, they
stand perfectly still as they stalk their prey.
On this day, I took numerous photos
of this lovely and amazing creature.
Seen here, one of my favorites,
enhanced a bit with  Photoshop.

Have a sweet ole' day everyone! Dee Dee
