I am continually inspired
when I see
children
at work,
and especially
at play.
They see the world
through rose colored glasses,
as the old saying goes.
It takes
so little
to make
a child happy.
Such is the case,
on this day,
when Wyatt
was taken
for a walk in the
fall leaves
and given a large red apple
to eat.
Without any
hesitation at all,
he sat down
on the ground,
next to a
bright orange
pumpkin,
and took a great big
juicy bite from
the apple.
And so,
the story goes......
