I miss springtime in the Carolinas.
For years, spring was white and
pink Dogwood trees, Azaleas, Tulips,
and Daffodils.....just to name a few
of my favorites.
Here on the Gulf Coast of Florida,
spring looks a whole lot different.
The Bougainvillea seems to be
everywhere this year.........
In the small coastal town of
Safety Harbor.....
spring has arrived. Lovin' this
potted Bougainvillea by the doorway
of an antique store......
Says "welcome" to me,
and "come on in."
We drove down side streets,
finding older coastal homes.
The older trees were absolutely gorgeous
with the Bougainvillea blended in with the
Spanish Moss.......
Oh, there were lots of other blooming flowers
to see today, but my camera's focus was
on the vivid color draped high up in
the magnificent old oak trees..........
Have a beautiful day.....Dee Dee
