I wanted them both for the living room,
my choices were a lovely pot of Paperwhite bulbs
already poking out from the rich black soil,
or the beautiful white Orchid (Orchidaceae).
I brought the Orchid home,
along with a bag of fertilizer and a new
found determination to keep this pretty
thing alive and healthy for a long long time.
"Talk sweet to your plants"
I've been told
and they will thrive on your kind words.
My first words to the Orchid....
"Hello Gorgeous!"
