GRAN'S LITTLE MAN
I began this little drawing
of a young boy child,
sitting all alone.
As it developed,
I realized more should be added
to complete the composition.
A Grandmother's arm caressing
her grandson,
completed my thoughts.
As I applied the paints,
a certain
expression developed on the
woman's face.
Her love for this
child spills out of her heart,
and trickles from the corners of her eyes.
Grandmothers know these
feelings for grandchildren,
and at any given moment loving
emotions can and will erupt.
From birth, the child feels secure with these
feelings from her, never doubting
that they will always be there.
He knows
her love can be relied upon,
and that it is
forever unconditional.
