This small lake is not far from my home.
The salmon colored trees
reflecting on the lake water, just a
short time ago, were bright yellow in color.
Each year I watch and wait for this magical
change, anxious to capture what
"Mother Nature" is transforming
in this beautiful place.

As an added bonus, sometimes I
catch a glimpse of an Osprey
that lives in the top of a tall
pine tree there. It's a spectacular thing
to see this great bird with it's massive wings,
fly low and slowly over the lake.
I suppose he's taken a fish home
for dinner on a few occasions.
